Success Story

So, I just wanted to talk about a client success story, this was a success for the buyer and the seller.
This was early on in my career, and the owners wanted around a million dollars for their home.
When the lady came through, she offered pretty much the price my owners were looking for, and then through the process of negotiation we ended up increasing that offer to over $60,000 above my owner’s dream price.
It was early on in my career, and I wasn’t used to this whole process so it felt a little weird that I was taking more money from this woman, even though my obligation is to my seller as they are my client.
We ended up signing the contract and as we did it this lady reached over, put her hand on my arm and said ‘thank you so much for helping me buy this property’.
Now that was a success for the sellers at the time because they ended up with $60,000 more that they were hoping for, which is what my job is, however that property is now worth about $1.9 million, so that lady has made over $800,000. That is the success you can get in real estate if your agent is doing the right thing.
