Real Estate Changed My Life

So recently someone asked me how real estate has impacted my life and here are the three biggest things I could think of.
Number 1, and this is going to sound conceited, but financially. At 40 years old I had to start from scratch because my business in the UK, through unfortunate circumstances, went sideways.
I started from nothing at 40 years old, and there were times when I first got into real estate when I struggled even to put petrol in my car.
Fast-forward two years from then and I bought my dream car outright.
It was just through sheer hard work and determination.
You know the saying goes ‘If you help enough people get what they want then you’ll have all the money you need’ and that’s exactly what happened to me.
So, financially is the first, the second thing would be impact. Everything I’ve ever done throughout my life I’ve always wanted to help people, whether that’s giving people a good time when they’re in a club, or changing people’s lives through fitness, and now it’s helping people sell their house and move on to the next chapter, or buy their dream home.
So the impact I’ve been able to have on that and see how families have been able to move onto their next chapter has been a big thing for me.
And lastly is family, like the amount of time I’ve been able to spend with my girls. Because of real estate, I get to choose my hours. I’m not dictated to, (other than Saturday mornings I guess) as to when I have to be somewhere and I can choose my appointments. I get to drop my girls off at school, I get to pick them up, I get to go to events, and all the things that my dad could never do with me when I was young I can now do with my girls, so that’s been for me the biggest thing.
I’m Paul Glazby, and real estate changed my life.
